Routing Error No route matchesのエラーが出た時の対処法【結論】ローカルサーバーは再起動する

今回は簡単なミスをしてしまいました…！
そのミスをもう二度としないようにアウトプットをしていきます。

Routing Error　No route matches編です。

本日の勉強内容

  • Ruby on Rails

今日もRailsの勉強だ〜！

Ruby on Rails

Gemfileを編集するとき。

Gemfile

今回はGemfileに、gem 'devise'を追記しました。

その後ターミナルにてbundle installコマンドを実行してGemをインストール。

ここまでは良いのですが、Gemをインストールした後は、ターミナルにてrails sをcontrol + Cで一旦停止し、サーバーを再起動する必要があるんです。

※インストールしたGemの反映するタイミングがサーバー起動時だから。

これをボクはすっ飛ばして進めてしまいました…。

もちろん、その後に『Routing Error No route matches』と表示され、痛い目に遭いましたね笑。

ここからは今日習ったことですね。

user_signed_in?メソッド

Gemのdeviseで使用できるメソッド。
ログインしているかの判定を行います。

unless

ifと同様に条件式の返り値で条件分岐してくれる構文。

ifは返り値がtrueのときにelseまでの処理が実行される一方、unlessはfalseの時にelseまでの処理が実行されます。
